Home technology questions

What do you need to review a TV mounting project?

Send the TV and mount model numbers, a photo of the wall, the desired viewing location and photos of nearby power and equipment. Wall construction, mounting hardware and the cable route affect the scope. New power and regulated wiring are assigned to an appropriately licensed trade contractor, with permits reviewed separately.

Can you set up devices I already own?

Yes, subject to compatibility and installation requirements. Share the brands, model numbers, the app or ecosystem you use and the result you want. Keep passwords and security codes private; enter them yourself when account access is needed.

Can you help when smart-home devices do not work together?

Describe which devices are involved, what works and what fails. We can review configuration, compatibility and network conditions. A device limitation, internet issue or unsupported combination may affect what is possible.

Should I buy smart-home equipment before contacting you?

Send product links and describe your goal first. We can review whether the proposed equipment fits the space and existing setup before you commit to it. Manufacturer subscriptions, additional hardware and specialty-trade requirements should be identified in the scope.
