Fixquisite project
A kitchen refresh built around the existing cabinets
Project location: Spokane Valley.
Raised cabinets, a dedicated range hood, glass tile and updated lighting brought this kitchen together.
Kitchen refresh & practical design
Better ventilation. A brighter kitchen.

What began as a microwave-hood replacement became a focused kitchen refresh that made better use of the cabinets and finishes already in place.
The homeowners wanted a dedicated range hood vented through the roof instead of recirculating cooking air into the room. Dave recommended removing the soffits so the new hood and chimney would fit more naturally into the kitchen.
Fixquisite removed the soffits, repaired the drywall and raised the existing cabinets. When the original backsplash tile could no longer be sourced, Dave found coordinating glass tile to extend the backsplash and tie the changes together.
Strategically placed LED lights improved illumination over the counters and cabinet faces. Updated wall colors and touch-ups to the trim and cabinetry completed the refresh. Electrical and mechanical subcontractors handled their respective parts of the project.
